GTR No. 001 Feature in Corvette Magazine

When the new Specter Werkes GTR No. 001 was first shown at Cauley Ferrari and Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield, Michigan, well over 200 people attended to see the car unveiled. After the GTR's introduction, the car made its way to the annual Vettes on the Rockies show in Frisco, Colorado. It was there that Mike and Michelle Cowan first saw this unique car. It wasn't long before Mike and Michelle became the proud owners of Specter Werkes GTR No. 001.

While the GTR retains the intrinsic character of the Corvette, its appearance, performance and luxury quotient. It is available on all C6 Corvette models, including the base coupe and convertible, the Z06 and even the forthcoming ZR1.

Featuring the use of exposed carbon fiber details on the exterior, the GTR package includes; unique GTR bodywork, including: front fascia, carbon fiber splitter, extractor hood, front fenders, doors, rocker panels, rear fenders, rear fascia, carbon fiber rear diffuser, Cleartastic paint protection, paint and assembly

The Corvette GTR package carries a base price of $46,995, with a variety of high-performance power-train options available for additional cost. Production is currently underway with each vehicle hand-built, numbered and fully documented for the customer.

The latest Corvette GTR by Specter Werkes/Sports debuted at the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Distinquished by its unique, BASF Pearl Blue exterior color and HRE lightweight, carbon fiber wheels, the latest GTR greeted showers as they arrived at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall, as a feature vehicle for HRE. The car was chosen by Car & Driver magazine as one of it's Top-10 SEMA Show Favorites.
